A new' procedure has been reported from the field on lubrication of the front wheel stop to eliminate cracking noise on hard turns. This supplements information previously published in the Service Craftsman News (May issue, No.7, page 42). A piece of heater hose filled with lubricant, then placed over the stop on the lower control arm makes a good "reservoir" for lubricant, and prolongs its effectiveness. Use 5/8" heater and cut it long enough to extend from l/16"to 1/8" beyond end of stop(See Fig).
