But if you're prepared to meet the situation, as Mr. Dealer is below, you will have no trouble in handling an irate owner.
An owner who conscientiously reads his 1959 Owner's Guide will know how to use his bumper jack on the 1959 rear bumper (page 29 of the Owner's Guide).
When the adapter is used on the rear bumper (as our owner below does) the car will not be raised high enough off the ground to permit installation of the spare tire. The flat tire will come off fine . . .
but just try and get the fully inflated spare tire on!
Using the jack hook in the extension cut-out at either end of rear bumper is a much different method for raising car than we had before. Be sure you're familiar wilh this technique . . . you may need the answer for an owner.
